How to let us know.
We’re sorry for your loss, and we want to make this process as simple and stress-free as possible for you. Managing financial matters after a bereavement can feel overwhelming – we understand.
The easiest way to let us know is through NotifyNOW, a free service that helps you inform multiple companies about a bereavement quickly and securely — all in one place, so you can focus on the more important things during this difficult time.

NotifyNOW.
We’ve partnered with NotifyNOW, a service of Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK) Ltd (our probate and bereavement account specialists) so you can easily report the passing of an account holder online, without having to speak to someone.
Use their online portal, where you can make an account with them and get everything sorted.

You can email enquiries@pragroup.co.uk to let us know someone has died.
Put ‘Bereavement Team’ in the subject line, and it will go to the right people. Just make sure that you include all of the information listed below.

If you want to speak to someone from our team then just call on 0808 196 5550.
Our phone lines are open 8am-8pm from Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday: 8am – 2pm.
Information to give.
There are some bits of information we need to be able to close the account of the person who passed away. When you contact us, please provide:
- Your name.
- Your phone number.
- An address where we can write to you.
- Account holder’s name, address, date of birth and date of death.
- Contact details for the solicitor administering the estate (if you have one).
In some circumstances, we may also need to see a death certificate.
Next steps.
Once you’ve provided us with the required information, we’ll look to close the account down. We can send letters to any address, as long as you let us know where you would like them to go.
